Voluntary and paid staff serve the New Hope Volunteer Fire Department, which provides fire protection and first responder services for our district, as well as our mutual aid partners.

IN CASE OF AN EMERGENCY DIAL 911

Our district is located between the towns of Chapel Hill and Hillsborough, North Carolina and covers sections of both Orange and Durham Counties.

Station #1 is located at 4012 Whitfield Road and is staffed 24 hours a day.

Station #2 is located at 4700 Highway 86 South.

Our district is bounded by:

  • To the South: I-40 from exit 263 to exit 270
  • To the West: Old Highway 86
  • To the East: Erwin Road
  • To the North: New Hope Church Road (west of Highway 86) and Mt. Sinai Road (east of Highway 86)
