On behalf of the members of the New Hope Volunteer Fire Department of Orange County and our Board of Directors, I would like to welcome you to our website. We appreciate your interest in learning more about our department, our mission, and the services we proudly provide to our community.
The New Hope Volunteer Fire Department was established in 1972 by a group of concerned community residents who recognized the need for organized fire protection in our area. What began as a small, all-volunteer effort has grown into a professional and well-equipped department dedicated to protecting life, property, and the environment through emergency response, fire prevention, and public education.
Guided by our Board of Directors, we operate with a steadfast commitment to accountability, transparency, and responsible stewardship of public resources. The Board takes very seriously the trust placed in us by the taxpayers who fund fire protection within our district. They work diligently to ensure that all funds are managed wisely and used effectively to maintain the highest levels of readiness, safety, and service for our community. Through careful financial oversight, we are able to provide modern equipment, quality training, and reliable emergency response while remaining fiscally responsible.
Our members—both volunteer and career—take great pride in serving the residents and businesses of Orange County. Through ongoing training, professionalism, and dedication, we continue to meet the challenges of an ever-evolving fire service with integrity and commitment.
